Brussels, June 2023  - IFP members did elect their new chairperson who took over from Eric Hervé (Phosphea, France). The new chair, Caroline Biard, Marketing and Innovation Director at Phosphea (Groupe Roullier), will guide the Cefic sector group representing the producers of inorganic feed phosphates for 3 years.

After her election, Caroline Biard, expressed gratitude for the election and shared her ambitions for the coming term:

"I am proud to represent the European feed phosphate players within IFP working group at CEFIC.

Rock phosphate is included in the European Critical Raw Material list. This resource is necessary to manufacture feed phosphate, an essential raw material for animal nutrition.

Indeed, feed phosphates provide mainly phosphorus and calcium, two elements which build skeleton or contribute to the metabolism of animals.

As new chair of IFP working group, I commit to support all our members promoting European feed phosphates quality from production process to the final product including sustainability approach.

I am thankful for their trust."

The IFP members expressed their gratitude to Eric Hervé for his engagement and dedication over the last 3 years.
